Ichie’s Breakfast Set Starts at 6 a.m. on Route 43 [Ashitsu Gourmet]

There’s a seafood restaurant called “いちえ” in Hamacho along National Route 43 that opens from 6:00 a.m.
*Morning set meals are available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

We heard you can get a morning set meal for just one coin, 500 yen, so we went to check it out right away.

All this for just one coin!

It feels like an incredible deal! Inside, there are counter seats and tatami seating, and the place is lively with lots of customers from early in the morning.

Before the main fish dish came out, they served simmered daikon radish, two pieces of sushi, vinegared octopus and wakame seaweed, and pickles.

It’s a nice style where even impatient people can snack while they wait.
Rice and miso soup come with free refills!
That’s especially nice if you have a big appetite.

The lunch menu also looks like it offers great value, so next time I’d like to visit for lunch.
