Just a 2-minute walk east from Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station, I got some fried bread to go from “Ashiya Agepan Paiku to Sora”!
“Curry Fried Bread” and “Cream Fried Bread” from “Ashiya Agepan Paiku to Sora”

“Curry Fried Bread” 260 yen (tax included)

Chewy fried bread filled with rich, sweet-and-spicy curry!
The spice level is mild enough that kids could probably enjoy it too.

“Cream Fried Bread” 260 yen (tax included)

This one is fried bread packed with sweet custard cream!
The chewy dough and cream go perfectly together. It was freshly fried and warm!
By the way, when I arrived at the shop, they had just sold out of fried bread!
The next batch would be ready around 3:00 p.m., so I waited inside for about 15 minutes while enjoying a drink.

“Fruit Garden (ICE)” 500 yen (tax included)
A sweet-tart, refreshing flavored tea! It helped me recover from all the walking around.
On every table inside the shop, you’ll find the picture book “Paiku to Sora,” which is where the shop’s name comes from.
