The home improvement store “Kohnan Minami Ashiyahama” opened on August 18 at Life Garden Shio Ashiya in Minami Ashiyahama.
On the first weekend after opening, the parking lot was full! Looks like everyone had been looking forward to it.

They even had an advertising balloon up to announce the opening! I feel like you don’t see those very often these days…!
The store is compact compared with the Kohnan in Imazu or Cainz in Fukaehama, but compared with the Keiyo D2 that used to be here, it feels like the selection has expanded.
The home appliances section was surprisingly well stocked, with especially many Iris Ohyama products! They even had large TVs.
The pet section had dogs and cats for sale! (No tropical fish or small birds available.)
