While walking along the Miyagawa River, I spotted a single lily blooming on the riverbank.

Oh, what’s that…!

A lovely single white lily!
I walked around the area too, but as far as I could see, there weren’t any other lilies growing nearby. It really was blooming there all by itself.

Here’s how it looks from the other side.

A white lily blooming quietly by the river… and if you look closely behind it,

there are 4 ducks.
Maybe they’re a family? So cute.

Compared to the Ashiyagawa River, I never really had the impression that Miyagawa was especially “rich in nature,” but when I looked closely, there were ducks and turtles, and all kinds of plants growing there too. It made me realize that nature really is alive here!

It was there after heading south along the Miyagawa River from National Route 43.
