I tried some takeout side dishes from “amasora,” a natural-foods restaurant on the Naruo-Mikage Line between Hanshin Ashiya Station and Uchide Station.
“amasora”’s “Carrot Râpée,” “Shadow Queen Potato Salad,” and “Nikujaga Croquette”

Left: “Carrot Râpée” 100g, 432 yen (tax included)
Right: “Shadow Queen Potato Salad” 100g, 432 yen (tax included)

The carrot râpée has a refreshing sweet-and-sour flavor, with none of the bitterness you sometimes get from carrots, making it very easy to eat!

The potato salad made with the purple potato “Shadow Queen” looks a bit surprising at first, but the taste is a simple, classic potato salad.
Apparently it’s seasoned with homemade mayonnaise.

“Nikujaga Croquette” 200 yen each

It’s a fairly small croquette, but it’s made with beef tendon from Tosa Akaushi beef.
It has a sweet, fluffy texture and a simple, homey flavor.
“amasora”’s Menu

You’ll find natural-style side dishes that make the most of seasonal ingredients, such as “Spring Cabbage and Buntan Coleslaw,” “Eggplant with Yuzu Miso,” “Tosa Akaushi Demi-Glace Hamburg Steak,” and “Shimanto Chicken Cutlet.”

They also have desserts and sweets like pudding, tarts, and kugelhopf.

They also sell baked sweets that would make great gifts or souvenirs!
