We tried the limited-time retro kissaten-style menu at “Cafe Rucette”, located on the 1st floor of “space R（スペース・アール）” along Chaya Sakura-dori!
“Napolitan” and “Cream Soda” at “Cafe Rucette”
“Napolitan” 990 yen (tax included)
This Napolitan has that classic nostalgic flavor! It’s topped with plenty of grated cheese too!
The balance of spaghetti with ingredients like sausage, green pepper, and onion is spot on!
It also pairs perfectly with the sides: boiled egg, carrot râpées, and salad.
“Cream Soda (Melon)” 715 yen (tax included)
It comes in a glass from “ADERIA RETRO”, which reimagines Showa-era retro patterns for today! It’s so cute!
There’s vanilla ice cream and a bright red cherry on top! This is exactly what cream soda should look like.
It’s still adorable even when the ice cream melts a little and turns it into a pastel color♪

Right now, they’re offering a limited-time retro kissaten-style “喫茶アール” menu.
Besides Napolitan and cream soda, there’s also omurice, mixed juice, classic pudding, and coffee jelly parfait!
In addition to the retro kissaten menu, they also have summer seasonal food items like taco rice, cheese hot dogs, and dry curry, plus drinks such as lemonade.
There are sweets too, including baked cheesecake, an-butter sandwiches, crumpets, and scones.
They also had a summer-only shaved ice menu!

It’s on the 1st floor of the gallery “space R,” along Chaya Sakura-dori, a little south of National Route 2.
Inside the shop, there’s also a special stationery corner featuring a collaboration between “ADERIA RETRO” and RYU-RYU!
You can buy cute glasses, stickers with glass motifs, memo pads, letter sets, and more. They were so cute that I personally ended up buying a ton…!
Until Sunday, August 15, the 3rd floor is also hosting “古道具・アンティーク屋店主さんたちの蚤の市”!
This summer, space R is irresistible for anyone who loves retro goods!
