I picked up some homemade lemonade and baumkuchen rusks from ELEPHANT RING, a baumkuchen specialty shop near Hanshin Ashiya Station!

This lemonade is made with lemons from the Setouchi region, giving it a refreshing tartness and clean sweetness! It has the perfect balance: not too sweet, and not too sour.
Cold lemonade on a scorching hot day really hits the spot!
The Baum Rusk is made by thinly slicing their carefully crafted baumkuchen and baking it into rusks.
The rich flavors of carefully selected butter, eggs, and flour are packed into each crisp slice!
It feels more like a cookie than a rusk, making it perfect for tea time or a snack♪

It’s on the southeast side of Omasu Park, and the cute elephant in front of the shop is the landmark!
They sell carefully made baumkuchen baked layer by layer, baked sweets made with baumkuchen batter, and original goods like plates and cups.
Along with the lemonade, this “Lemon Baum Cookie” is also a new item for this summer!
Since it has Setouchi lemon peel mixed in, it has a wonderfully refreshing lemon flavor♪
