The riverbed along the Ashiya River was absolutely overgrown with summer grass.

So thick and bushy.

It’s grown taller than Fuuko (about 150 cm tall). She lost this round!

The height is impressive, but so is the sheer amount of it. The summer grass just keeps going and going in thick clumps…!

It feels like being buried in it. If a small child wandered in, you might lose sight of them pretty quickly.

They were mowing the grass right around the area in front of “Cleri Ashiya Hall,” but there was so much of it that it looked like a tough job…! Thank you for your hard work!
Right now, you can enjoy a Ghibli-like atmosphere, almost like “My Neighbor Totoro,” but if you go down to the river, please be extra careful about insects, water levels, and so on!
The spot we photographed this time is around here on the map↓
In terms of the address, it’s the Ashiya River riverbed near 1 Hiratacho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
